What You’ll Do:
As The Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in the development, implementation, and ongoing management of corporate compliance programs, policies, and business practices. This position ensures operational efficiency and legal compliance across the organization, with a specific focus on employment-related regulations and issues. As a key advisor to the C-Suite and senior management, you will oversee HR-related compliance for CoventBridge Group employees located throughout the United States.

We’re looking for someone who blends legal know-how with a practical, human approach to compliance. You should be clear, confident, and comfortable navigating complex employment laws—especially in high-regulation states—and adept at translating rules into real-world action.
Your strengths include:
Exceptional verbal and written communication
Detail-driven, ethical, and discreet with sensitive information
Skilled in juggling multiple projects with precision and accountability
A natural educator and coach, especially for frontline managers
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field (Master’s or JD is a plus)
5+ years of experience in corporate compliance roles, preferably in non-IT environments
3+ years specifically focused on HR compliance, including deep knowledge of CA and NY labor laws
Professional certification such as CCEP or CRCM strongly preferred
Location Requirement: Remote. Candidates must be based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET).

The salary range for this role is $75k to $85k annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
